A Little About Myself:

 I started my career in the 4th grade classroom.  I taught 4th grade for 2 years, then a special education classroom for 2 years.  When my second son was born, I decided to be a “stay-at-home” mom.  During this time however, I worked part-time tutoring and assessing students for an area tutoring company.  When my boys started school and pre-school, I began working at the Alternative School here in the district.  I worked there as the Special Education Teacher for 5 years.  This was a wonderful experience; however my heart has always been in elementary education.  I was blessed to become the P.E. teacher here at Schrader and acquired a third grade position soon after. 

My heart is in third grade and I cannot wait to share that with the third grade children.  My husband is Mr. Vines and works in the Social Studies department at CHS.  Hopefully you will have the chance to work with him.  He is an amazing teacher and wonderful guy.  My two boys are now 9 and 11 and are the joys of my life.  They are active swimmers on the RCA swim team and both attend Cape Public Schools.  I spend my time swimming with them, jogging, biking, playing with my Poodles, and working in my yard.
